Check_MK check for Fortigate firewalls
I've got a Fortigate 60C and wanted to monitor it in Check_MK. I could find a plugin written by Justin McMillen, but it didn't work in the version 1.1.2 of Check_MK. Also they seemed to use SNMP OIDs, which my Fortigate 60C didn't have. So I've updated his checks and created a new version of the plugin. The checks use SNMP to get CPU and RAM usage as ell as the session count. You can download the package from Check_MK Exchange site.

Hello,
when trying to install the package I get the following error:
check_mk -P install fortigate-1.5.1.mkp
File conflict: /usr/share/check_mk/checks/fortigate_cpu is part of another package.
I think it conflicts with the original check built into check_mk. How can I overwrite it, please?
Thanks you!

I'm having OMD version 0.54 (check_ mk 1.1.2) and this product seems not to have built-in fortigate plugins. So I didn't have troubles installing my package. In a newer version of Check_MK there might be plugins for Fortigate that have the same names as my plugins have. How you could resolve the issue, I don't know. May be I'd rename my checks in the next version.

Many thanks
